Maybe I Check My Phone Too Much

But why?

This is a post I like from the archives. With thanks to my lovely wife, I couldn’t help but notice how frequently I check my phone. Then, I couldn’t help but wonder why. Since I first posted this, I’m glad to report that the compulsion has eased a bit. Unfortunately, I still very much relate.
